Photography has been a part of my personal and professional life for over 20 years now. I have studied it to degree level, achieving both a BA (Hons) in Photography and a BSc in Medical Illustration and I have created a portfolio of images over the years, of which I am immensely proud and have won several professional awards for.
Early in 2017, I decided the time was right to begin the ever-so-slightly daunting transition from my long-time role within the NHS as a Clinical Photographer, to working on my own as a professional freelance photographer (my 40's were fast approaching so I thought 'be brave, get out of your comfort zone and take the leap'!). Anyway, the last year has seen me do just that! I set up this website to share some of the projects I've been lucky enough to be involved in since I began my venture, as well as showcasing some of the things I just really like to photograph!
Creatively, my photography shows my artistic eye for detail which I hope is apparent and I always try to capture my subject in a style which compliments it best - whether this be gritty and honest, romantic and ethereal, or fun and playful. It's probably best to let my photographs speak for themselves, so if you'd like to see what I do, head to my photo gallery for a selection of my work, or for details of the photography services I can provide, including details of wedding photography prices, please head over to my costings section! Thanks for visiting and hope I can work with you soon! x
